Filtering and search
Filtering
Collection and search pages can filter by availability, price, product type, vendor and variant options.
Filters come from Shopify, not from Craftly. Install the free Search & Discovery app and add the filters you want. Craftly then shows them: a panel beside the products on a large screen, a drawer behind a Filter button on a small one. With no filters set up, Craftly shows nothing rather than an empty panel.
Choosing a filter updates the products without reloading the page, and the address bar updates too, so a filtered view can be bookmarked and shared. Filter groups you have opened stay open while you narrow things down.
Filtering works with JavaScript disabled. Every filter is a real link.
Sorting
Sort options come from Shopify and follow your store's settings.
Search
The header search field can suggest products, collections, pages and articles as a shopper types. Turn it on under Theme settings → Search.
Suggestions come from Shopify's own search, so what appears follows your store's search settings. If a product does not appear, check how it is indexed in the Search & Discovery app.
The search results page filters and sorts exactly like a collection page.
